VOC

I found a possible job at Phantom Canyon with VOC (Volunteer Outdoor Colorado) on October 13. I have also applied for the day off work, no response yet though. Also, to avoid doing paperwork, I am going with my dad as a chaperon.

Volunteer outdoor colorado

I have found an opportunity to do some trail work. In part with Volunteer outdoor Colorado, I have contacted my boss to see if I can get Saturday off work in order to do this. But, no luck so far with getting an answer from my boss, it has been 3 days since I contacted her but I have some time to spare.

Research phase

I have begun to research trail erosion. I am also working on a technical lesson on trail erosion and prevention. I am in the longest game of phone tag ever with the Castlewood Canyon manager. Oh well

Trail work opporitunity

I have a possibility to do work at castlewood canyon. Closer to home and easier since I don't need to camp out. I'll post again when I get closure.

Proposal

For my first quarter project, I will be doing trail work. I will then write a detailed account of what happened. I will also research trail damage and give a quick technical lesson on it.
